Minotaur Eco Tote Bag

$29.95Price
The Minotaur was born to the Queen of Crete and one of Poseidons' bulls. Poseidon caused the Queen to fall into uncontrollable lust for the bull as a punishment for King Minos not sacrificing the bull to him as was promised. The offspring was a monster with the head of a bull, and the body of a man. The Minotaur had an insatiable hunger for flesh, and so Minos locked him away in the famous Labyrinth of Crete constructed by Daedalus. To punish Athens for unjustly killing Minos' son, Apollo's oracle of Delphi made the city send seven maids and seven youths to be sacrificed to the Minotaur once a year. This continued until Theseus slayed him with the help of Minos' daughter, Ariadne.
