Selene is the Greek goddess and personification of the Moon. She is the daughter of the Titans Hyperion and Theia, and sister of the sun god Helios and the dawn goddess Eos. Selene is said to drive her moon chariot across the sky every night, from east to west, following her brother. She is a common symbol of constant change, as the moon phases are constantly changing.
